This evening I have received a very disappointing message from a very disappointed Councillor, Edward Heron, who has always supported the introduction of speed cameras along Roger Penny Way.

He says that he will continue to campaign for the cameras but he knows he will be fighting an uphill battle. How many more ponies and other animals have die on this rotten road before something is done? Let's hope the police and the other authorities continue to commit to their regular speed checks.
