Donkey death - WARNING graphic picture

I am sorry to report that last night a jenny donkey lost her life on the B3078 Roger Penny Way on the New Forest and when I saw the agister this morning he was collecting bits of the car in the hope of identifying the vehicle in case the driver fails to report the incident. At this stage we don't know if the donkey died straight away or was left to suffer. The agister was also trying to ascertain whether the foal that was within the nearby herd was hers. This has got to stop and that is why I ended the petition early in order to get the results to the various authorities as quickly as possible.
