Dr. Lauren Caldwell of the APA Committee on Children, Youth and Families, has informed us that "we have initiated [the] process regarding the request to update the 2008 statement. Our next governance meetings will be held in April. I will be back in touch after the meetings to provide an additional update regarding your request." This is a huge win for our families! We need to keep this momentum going. Please continue to share the petition and encourage others to sign it and share their stories. It has only been three weeks and already we are seeing results.
