FAMILY MATTERS TO ME AND YOU
It comes with great gratitude to see each and every one of you supporting me by signing my petition to be released from federal prison. The Nation that has initiated so much of the spirit of freedom has become the leading Nation in incarceration. Many of the incarcerated are serving to sever sentences for non-violent drug offenses. This has come about through a systematic problem. Although I do understand the negative impact illegal drugs have caused, we can not solve the "war on drugs" by locking non-violent, first-time offenders up with sever sentences and at the same time leaving the drugs free to fall into the hands of our youth. That's why I have made a lifetime commitment to be the difference. After having gone through this valley, there has emerged within me an opportunity and simultaneously an ability for me to contribute to society. I have learned a social responsibility, learn to earn, and learned to be a caregiver to our communities.
Soon after my incarceration, I stopped fighting so much to get out and started wrestling to understand what can I do with what I have been given. In the struggle to understand what I can do to make a difference, I have come to realize there must be a willingness to go into the inner cities and neighborhoods with accountable, qualified trainers, doctors and specialist reconstructing the hearts and souls of the people. It's not only important to break the cycle of crime, it's also important to prevent the cycle from ever starting. Our youth must understand how to produce and maintain positive productive behavior patterns that will yield moral and ethical outcomes. Our adults must understand how to break the cycle of negative immoral and unethical behavioral patterns that continuously lead to recidivism. We must educate, train and equip our youth teaching tech-trade skills, equipping them with industrial tools giving them alternatives. We must teach them how to develop healthy decision making patterns through cognitive behavioral programs and neuro-feedback that allows their mind to carry out moral and ethical decisions while resisting those that are contrary. I have a personal conviction that it is my responsibility to reach the "unreachable" and teach the "unteachable" how to use their creative minds to produce jobs and create opportunities that their wonderful minds have hungered and thirst for.
Through my observation, everyone doesn't want to change but I believe everyone can change. Frederick Douglas said, "It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men." If we look intently enough we will see that he identified to problems that if we provide the solutions has the potential to positively impact our homes, families, workplaces, communities, and resources. It's time to invest in our children and put our broken men back together. Many of our strong women have had to play both sides for much too long. We are experiencing a generation where social media has given us a platform that can benefit our Causes like no other generation. It's what I call Social Justice. Though many of us have different self-interest we must work to find a happy medium in order to identify a common interest, thereby joining together in common unity forging a community of citizens once again vibrant as we were in past times. We must demonstrate our love for our children in an increasingly and efficient way by giving them the opportunities they never had, yet are capable of exceeding. There are many hurdles that we will have to overcome but our initiative is as demanding as that of a pioneer on the untamed frontier. There will be opposition and resistance which we must use to forge the character and results we seek. That's exactly what I did with the 360-month nightmare which started as an American dream. Pursuing the good life as a loan originator in the mortgage industry, with clear thinking and pure motives, quickly took a turn in the wrong direction at the collapsing of the Banking Industry. The irrational decisions that I began to make caused the dreams that I once chased became my worst nightmare. After having been caught in the vast network of drug trafficking, I gave myself two options 1.Give up 2.Repurpose and use this cauldron to forge the priceless qualities of character that is taking shape daily as a high moral goal is achieved. The time has come for me to emerge as the mature Brian Rowe, experienced in life lessons, socially aware and dedicated to a higher and greater Cause.
We are transitioning from the Information Age to the Demonstration Age. How many of you wished you would have invested in Uber or Bitcoin when they were in their embryonic stages? I am preparing myself for the other side of this prison system, thanks to your support. I am telling you now that we are going to do things beyond your comprehension. Most recently I was selected as a Teachers Assistant for a Professor and Doctor which included a team of Princeton Professors who is teaching and training me. I told you it's working for my good! Well, the time is right! Several people have already gone ahead of the curve and contributed to our CAUSE. Frances Cobian and Leading Beyond Expectation has branched off to assist me in the building of an infrastructure for a new beginning. We have been working on this for several years and I knew the time was right to incorporate your presence. Although I was the least culpable, having walked away from the conspiracy and had re-established myself back into the commercial business arena, 3 years later the government arrested me then gave me the most time of all other co-conspirators. The government never offered me a plea, as a result of me going to trial, the prosecutor manipulated the drug quantity and other variables that would allow the judge to sentence me to as much time as possible. Prior to this trial, I never knew this system was as brutal as it is today. Because of this trial, the awareness has caused me to become even a greater symbol of change. If anyone knows about loyalty it's me. Frances has been with me from the beginning and has come to visit on several occasions. She can attest to the first time we joined together in Harlem on 7th Avenue and 119th Street with our multi-cultural literacy event we delivered to the children. Pastor Fran has seen how committed and diligent I have worked to equip myself for this moment in time. She has given her life for me and she is a very reliable person with a Law Degree and a background of philanthropy and counseling out of this world. Pastor Fran has been traveling all over the east coast helping people from the homeless to prestigious. The investment she has made in me is beyond anyone could imagine. I am exceedingly grateful for her and my partner Tim Andrews, who believed and stuck with me when all hell came over me. We have covered extraordinary ground but we are not done yet. The momentum is in our favor and I ask you to continue to share my petition to as many people your internet can reach. Your time and investment in me will not return void.
