Petition updateStop Network Rail Chopping Down Millions of Trees!DEPARTMENT FOR TRANSPORT - NETWORK RAIL TREE FELLING INVESTIGATION

They say they are looking into Network Rail's tree and vegetation management policy, but I don’t trust them. I believe there is more to this nationwide tree felling and foliage destruction than what we are being told and the reasons given. Network Rail could start felling trees again at any time behind our backs.
At the moment the Government say they will report back 'in the summer', but there is no set date. TWEET @JoJohnsonUK and @transportgovuk . AND TELL THEM - WE 83,000+ SIGNERS ARE WATCHING AND WAITING, AND WE'LL NOT LET THIS INVESTIGATION BE KICKED INTO THE LONG GRASS. We want a specific timescale for when the report will be published?
Tell them to stop chopping down trees for good, using the hashtag #StopTheChop.
They need to know that the politicians might be calling them for questioning.. but the people will not stop pressuring them until they stop chopping down trees and use environmentally friendly alternative means to protect resident birds and wildlife that live ‘all year’ along railways.
Please share and get your friends to sign the Petition if they haven't already…
Many thanks again for your support.
