Young Royals is a Swedish teen drama television series set at the fictional elite boarding school Hillerska.The plot revolves around Prince Wilhelm of Sweden, his budding romance, and the drama that comes with it. The six-episode series premiered on Netflix on July 1, 2021 and was created by Lisa Ambjörn, Lars Beckung and Camilla Holter.

Season 1 The season follows Prince Wilhelm as he enrolls in a boarding school after a scandal about him is revealed to the public. There, he must cope with interacting with other teenagers his age, all while trying to hide his emerging sexuality and his newfound attraction towards one of his schoolmates. When tragedy strikes, Prince Wilhelm must make a choice: Duty or love?
