Netflix and Lionsgate Merge Together

The Issue

Look, we all know Netflix is a terrible streaming service, especially since they once streamed that infamous Cuties film for for years - and you have every right to hate that movie, because that movie, even from France, never should've been made. And don't get me started on that horrible Big Mouth show!

And I agree that companies merging is a very bad idea. That being said, though, with Amazon owning MGM, and Disney owning 20th Century Fox, there is a merger I personally believe would be a way better merger than Warner Bros. Discovery. Netflix buying Lionsgate Studios.

Really, think about it; both own content in both Canada and the United States, and both are big names in independent entertainment (even though Lionsgate is a mini-major).

Netflix may have been the first streaming service to be a member of the MPA, but if they really wanna prove themselves worthy of being an MPA member, apart from the removal of that god awful French movie, they need to purchase all assets of Lionsgate, and consider being like other studios. Not everyone likes streaming, Netflix, so if you wanna prove yourself worthy of being a member of the Motion Picture Association, you're just gonna have to buy all assets of Lionsgate Studios, and fold it into Netflix Studios.

Not only that, but I also recommend rebranding Lionsgate Home Entertainment to Netflix Home Entertainment to release movies and shows (including the Cuphead Show!) on physical media, because a lot of people, myself included, prefer physical media over streaming.

You can still stream content on your streaming service, but I also recommend rebranding Lionsgate Television to Netflix Television. And you should also consider releasing movies in theaters (yes, you can still stream them the same day they come out in theaters), and have Netflix Pictures be the main film distributor for all theatrical Netflix and Lionsgate releases.

As long as you don't include that horrid French movie, which will take a long time for people to forget about, imagine how much money you'll be making after purchasing all assets of Lionsgate. Yes, mergers are usually a bad idea, but Netflix buying Lionsgate would make a lot more sense than you thought.
