Called to an animal abuse case, Nermin arriving spoke with the owner of the dog who claimed they were too embarrassed to let Nermin in as the dog had just pooped on the carpet. He decided not to enter the unit and left without listening to the evidence that other residents had recorded. 

Leaving he didn't tell animal-welfare authorities nor did he refer the file for further investigation. 

Coming back a second time, they entered the unit and found both dogs in the bath where the owner claimed that they hated baths and that was why there was so much commotion and that he was sorry. Leaving again without listening to any evidence or reporting it to animal-welfare.

The third time 911 was called they refused to dispatch anyone because Officer Nermin Mesic never reported anything wrong going on and obviously 911 was not planning to waste their time. A resident mad about this called Animal-Welfare who said it woudl take a few weeks for them to come, but then heard in the background the sounds of abuse and called 911. 

Nermin showed up again, and was about to leave AGAIN! But a resident stop them and told them this guy has a history of lying. They finally entered the unit and found a very abused dog and a second puppy dead in the bathtub.

IF Nermin just did his job for once maybe something bad wouldn't happen. But of course Ottawa Police Services is okay with having this person out there doing bad shit and then on top of that just doing a poor job as an officer that lead to the death of a dog.
