5000 Signatures and Second Week of Protesting Tomorrow!

Hey everyone! We reached 5000 signatures today which is more than we anticipated when we started this petition. Thank you so much to everyone who has signed and shared. Please, please keep the momentum going. This petition is a potentially powerful tool that can help us put the pressure on Neptune BOE to be transparent and earn the public trust by removing Smurro, revoking his benefits and preventing him from working with children in the future.

Also to that end, we'll be back at the Neptune BOE building, at the corner of Neptune and Heck, tomorrow from 2-5pm. We have decided to make these actions WEEKLY. Same time and place every Friday. If you're in the area, please stop by and say hello!

Our presence has attracted some media attention. We showed up in the print edition of Asbury Park's Coaster this week. New Jersey 101.5 published a story online today. And Wayne Parry of the Associated Press, who also showed up in person to see what we were up to, wrote up a piece that has been picked up by PIX 11, ABC News, KTTC, The Press of Atlantic City and more.
