Quick Update

Dear Friends - It has been reported that our Government has finally initiated the release of the first 4.5 million US Dollars. The immense pressure from the public has undoubtedly compelled the Government to take this step and this is something to cheer about. However the work does not end here - we want them to release the rest of the 95 million US dollars instantaneously so aid can reach people on time. It is the job of the Government to make sure the pledges are converted to cash right away by implementing quick action on documentation processing, and without letting bureaucracy get in the way unreasonably at this time of crisis. Excuses are not what we are looking forward to. Finally, appreciating the work done by each and everyone who have contributed for the victims of earthquake to the best of their capabilities, either remaining on or off the ground. When the intention is good, good things will follow itself. Keep sharing this petition. It is indeed for a really good cause. Thank you.
