All I can say is wow! What an amazing weekend! I also love hearing all of your ideas (savebooksellers@gmail.com)! I was wandering the used books section at Booksellers yesterday when I thought about how used books were just like this petition. Used books are unique in that their experience is shared between the owners of any given used book. Books are meant to be shared although used books are typically designated more often to be shared. In the same way, this petition is meant to be shared and read over and over again by new people each time with that shared experience being carried over through the comments section located below the actual petition. I encourage you to share this petition and keep the momentum we’ve started together. We can do this and save our beloved local bookstore. I hope that you’ve already shared this petition with anyone you know and now we can take that next step and share this petition directly with local news stations, regional magazines, and any other organization you think might be interested in picking up this story.
