Mates in Goulburn

A few days ago I asked if you could become a mate to me and the over 10000 refugees who have been left in limbo, without permanent visas.

Today, councilors from the Goulburn Mulwaree Council and the Upper Lachlan Shire Council put their hands up to be mates!

Thank you to Mayor Peter Walker, Deputy Mayor Steve Ruddell, Cr Jason Shepherd, Cr Andy Wood and Amy Croker from the Goulburn Mulwaree Council and Mayor Pam Kensit from the Upper Lachlan Shire for your warm and compassionate welcome. 

The councillors and mayors who met with me today have pledged to contact the PM urging him to give safety and certainty to the over 10000 refugees still in limbo - thank you!
