A story in the Daily Mirror exposes hunters coming to Britain to kill rare and extinct Deer n the wild that  are bred in captivity paying £7,000 for  a sick trophy of the poor animals head and antlers

The Mirror reports that hunters are jetting in to shoot the Pere David’s deer originally from China but now classed as “extinct in the wild” on the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List.

The species can only be found on private estates – making the animal’s head a prize for trophy collections – where they are hunted away from the gaze of the general public.

In the Telegraph Newspaper this week it tells of how foreign trophy hunters are killing our wild birds including Buzzards and Cranes bringing them back to the US as a trophy.

Britain is now one of the blood thirsty destinations in the world inviting sick trophy hunters over to kill our beautiful wildlife which will soon be hunted to extinction just as Africa's has been.  Deer are bred in captivity born to die to feed the blood lust of an outdated sick hobby that should be banned and left in the past where it belongs.  It's completely outrageous that trophy hunting of animals still exists in the modern world.

It is illegal to shoot wild birds in Britain without a licence from Defra, but an argument to kill birds of prey such as buzzards can be made if they are causing damage to livestock says the Telegraph.

Please support the BAN TROPHY HUNTING campaign who are submitting a 200 page report to the Government which shows Britains impact on Wildlife through trophy hunting and contains evidence from leading Scientists.

Please email huntingtrophyconsultation@defra.gov.uk today to say that you support OPTION 3 for a total ban on trophy-hunting imports and exports.

BE A VOICE FOR WILDLIFE BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE

THE NEC MUST MOVE WITH THE TIMES AND CANCEL THIS OUTDATED AND BARBARIC SHOW PROMOTING THE KILLING OF ANIMALS!

THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HOSTING SUCH A SHOW AND LISTEN TO THE PUBLIC VOICE - 9 OUT OF 10 PEOPLE ARE AGAINST THE KILLING OF WILDLIFE!
