Dear Friends,

I pray that you and your family are safe and doing well.  As you know, the District Attorney has offered Mr. Himes and Ms. Kerr a plea deal for their involvement in Maniche’s death.  The decision to offer a plea deal was based on the fact that Mr. Himes fled the scene of the accident and allowed himself to lower his blood alcohol level by the time the police found him. Just this fact only proves that Mr. Himes and his girlfriend Ms. Kerr had no remorse for the life of my daughter.  Justice Will Prevail.

There has been a date set for the arraignment of both Mr. Himes and Ms. Kerr for October 15, 2020.  On that day, I was told that I will have the opportunity to give a victim impact statement. After six months of fighting for #JusticeforManiche, I am heartbroken, angry, frustrated and aggravated to say the least.  With your help, I can become a voice for Maniche and let the individuals involved in her death know just how much they have change my life as well as the many people that were near and dear to Maniche’s heart.

I am asking that all of you join me on October 15, 2020 at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Court House so that we can show the Defendents that we will receive #JusticeforManiche and that they CAN’T run from that!
