WOW!! Amazing Week!!

Good Morning Friends! This week has been amazing! Thanks to each of you, we have quickly passed our goal of 150 by Valentines day and now stand just over 300 people away from hitting 1000 signatures!!! This is an awesome response and you are amazing change makers. Thank you for your help! Now, that said, lets push past 1000 signatures this weekend! With your continued sharing, we will hit that mark. I have taken time this week to speak with more veterinarians and low cost providers who are willing to help be part of the change and have graciously offered help. So, what does that mean? Well for starters, getting these people on board, which they always have been realistically, will help us to show that their are professionals who are willing to do low cost alterations for animals. There are professionals who are interested in helping to bring NC to a No-Kill state and in improving the health of animals and people both through the efforts of things such as Trap, Alter, Release programs, altering every animal that comes through the doors of AC facilities through the state making it the standard across the state which sadly is not the case already. This means additional help in applying for grants from major organizations to help make this happen and further reducing the burden of the burden on individuals to make this happen in a timely and efficient manor. So, as we push forward, please continue to share, educate, and get your own animals altered if they are not already. We all have louder voices when we can show we have already taken the steps we are pushing for everyone to take and to be part of responsible health practices within NC!
