Make the 10 point grading scale change apply to ALL high school students

The Issue

The NC Board of Education recently voted to make the switch to a 10 point grading scale from a 7 point scale. The vote applies this scale only to future incoming students, starting with the freshman for 2015-2016. This means that a freshman could earn a 92 and receive an A whilst an upperclassman could earn a 92 and receive a B. This is an extremely unfair way of evaluating students and can affect being accepted into college. The NC Board of Education needs to vote to apply the scale to all students.
