Kia ora all,
It's been a bit of a minefield. Of course I've been made to look like a mad woman in the media (not all) & been threatened with legal action to silence me. A great reflection of the class & race issues we have here in NZ & the fact that it's time to sort this out. I'm not afraid. It was a mistake for them to underestimate me & us. I am a direct descendant of Chief Taekata of Te Arawa. We don't muck around. 57,000 of us also don't muck around. We are a voice. A strong voice together. Let's keep vocal. On that, I had to make a decision that I won't be silenced - whatever happens. We have had enough in New Zealand & change has come. Thank you again to all the supporters, especially the incredible legal team I have. You know who you are.
200 women have offered to administer the petition beside me! This is incredible! It means solidarity. I will be adding them in today. We are about to get really active. There is work to do.
So on that note - while we are strategizing lets try & hit 100k! As our voice grows so too does their inability to silence us.
