The Animal Rescue world deserves and demands a PUBLIC apology from Don Nash, Executive Producer of NBC News Today Show, for allowing a segment, Puppy Parties, to air on August 12, 2015.  This is inexcusable that The Today Show would air and promote such a thing.  Every year in the United States alone, millions of dogs AND PUPPIES are dropped at high kill shelters and euthanized as a result of mass breeding by puppy mills, breeders, and irresponsible pet owners that fail to spay and/or neuter their pup.  For the Today Show to air and promote, Puppy Parties, is just unacceptable.  By airing this story, you are encouraging breeding.  The Today Show staff should seriously educate themselves on the over population and high euthanasia rate of dogs and puppies in this country.  This is a serious problem in the United States and throughout the world.  It is your responsibility to help educate the general public, not contribute to the problem and add to the ignorance.
