My daughter's attorney received the email below tonight from Andrew Davenport's attorney, Sammye Kok. This woman isn't satisfied that she ripped two young precious children that need their mother from them but now is attempting to further limit my daughters contact with her precious children and my precious grandchildren by making false allegations and bullying my daughter and her family by stating that if we do NOT immediately take down our petition for assistance she will not allow my daughter to have her court ordered summer visitation with her children. She has the nerve to assert that we are exploiting my grandchildren when in fact it is the Davenports and Sammye Kok that are exploiting my precious grandchildren and portraying my daughter as unstable when in fact she is anything but. She is a loving mother that anyone that knows her can attest to. This is an outrage and Sammye Kok's behavior is unethical and completely without merit. She has twisted the facts of this case to support her client and her client's parent's vendetta against my daughter for her client's benefit while painting my daughter as someone that is out of control. What mother wouldn't be upset when the court unjustly gives sole custody to a father that drinks, has a drug record, and never cared for his children, and whips them with a belt. Of course my daughter and my family are terribly upset by the Judge Pate's unfair bias and prejudicial decision and Sammye Kok's continued pattern of harassment and continual attempts to limit my daughters rights to her children. These are just the tactics she utilized at the trial. I will NOT stop until my grandchildren are returned to my daughter where they belong and this situation is made right. My daughter cannot get a fair ruling in AL due to the inherent prejudice and bias against her and her family. Below is the email Sammye Kok had the audacity to send my daughter's attorney when my daughter's attorney requested my daughter's summer visitation with her children as Ordered by Judge Pate's order. I will take this case to the highest court in the this country if need be. There is a relocation statute in AL, yet the Judge ordered that my daughter cannot leave the state with her children unless their father is provided 48 hour notice and exact details of their whereabouts and those that will be in the children's presence. Yet it is okay for Martha Davenport to tell my grandchildren that they do not want to speak to their mother and poison these innocent children. Basically my grandchildren have not only been taken from my daughter Katie but from her entire family that resides in New Jersey only to be raised by the Davenport's that abhor my daughter. It is my family that supported this marriage financially and otherwise and have had a close relationship with my daughter's children, provided housing for Katie, her husband and their children when they hit hard times, not the Davenport's family. In fact, Andrew and Katie were estranged from the Davenport family for 5 out of 7 years of their marriage and the Davenport's consulted legal counsel during one of these periods of estrangement to attempt to gain grandparental rights only to learn that they could not obtain such rights. The Davenports are vindictive and harbor deep resentment and hatred for my daughter, Katherine. Martha Davenport admitted this on the stand during my daughter's trial. Sammye is correct God bless my precious grandchildren whose little minds are being poisoned by the Davenport family against the only mother they love and know and has dedicated her life to their well-being. I cannot emphasis enough how disgraceful and sad this situation is. Sammye cannot threaten me that my daughter cannot have her rights to her children unless I immediately take down my change.org petition. I will not be bullied by a corrupt legal system, Judge Pate, and an attorney that is a bully and only cares about lining her pockets! In closing, let me end by saying exactly what Sammye Kok said "God bless my precious grandchildren who are currently in the care of Davenport family that are poisoning their innocent minds against their mother! I cannot stress how sick these people are, they spent over $100,000 to buy my grandchildren out of pure vindictiveness against the children's mother and family. Yet Martha Davenport's two brothers committed suicide, her niece is married to a man that was arrested for narcotics, and these are the people that are raising my precious grandchildren and just a year ago on 5/18/14 Andrew Davenport was arrested and plead guilty to an offense and paid court fines of $354.00. This is the family that is raising my grandchildren! It is exploitation of the children and grossly inappropriate to put the children's identifying information and pictures out like they have done. She had the children from Friday of week before last until last Sunday night and he had no idea where they were from Tuesday on nor would you tell me! How can she then come back ALWAYS asking for more? She has already violated the order by taking the kids out of state without notifying him. She has refused his phone calls during this time . She has inappropriately discussed the custody issues with the children. In my opinion, she should have supervised visitation until she can act more responsibly.
