I wish this was a dream and this wasn’t true, in what seems to be a horrible horrible nightmare, as do many people right now...However, today, January 26th 2020, the legend and icon former Laker basketball player, Kobe Bean Bryant and his 13 year old daughter, Gianna were among several people who passed away tragically in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. Bryant was 41. His impact on and off the court was so monumentally huge to the world In which his legacy will last forever. This sudden loss is so tragic and heartbreakingly sad considering the circumstances. For 20 years he epitomized greatness while carrying a breathless city with him.

I humbly request the NBA and commissioner to unanimously and immediately change the logo to a new logo representing Kobe Bryant and one of his countless legendary moments on the court. His touch upon people he knew and the effect he had on the world is so large this should be an easy decision to make. He has most certainly earned it without a doubt. This logo change should be permanent as Kobe should live on forever through the logo.

Please sign now to show the NBA league office how important this is to us as fans of the game. May the Mamba Live Forever. Rest in piece Kobe Bean Bryant!!
