I am a native Hawaiian beneficiary, and I believe in the mission of the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) is to serve our community. 

The Courtyards of Waipouli in Lihue, Kauai is a valuable opportunity that can expand DHHL's housing inventory.

 This acquisition would not only diversify our housing options but also provide quicker access to homes in one of Hawaii's most desirable areas.

DHHL was established with a clear mandate - to manage the Hawaiian Home Lands trust effectively and to develop and deliver lands to native Hawaiians. See HHCA Section 207.5.

Today, it manages over 200,000 acres across the state (source: DHHL). The addition of the Courtyards at Waipouli would significantly contribute to this mission.

However, this acquisition cannot happen without your support. We need you – beneficiaries – to voice your agreement with this initiative. Your signature will send a strong message that we stand together in supporting actions that benefit native Hawaiians.
