This afternoon I received the following statement from the HSE:

Hi Justin, we've seen your petition. Today we've clarified we did not order for cattle to be moved. Please can you therefore make a slight change to your wording.

In light of what is being reported in some corners and on social media relating to cattle at Baslow, Derbyshire, we would like to clarify what HSE’s involvement has been. We firmly reject claims that we, in any way, asked or ordered the slaughter of cattle.
