We've broken through the first big barrier, gaining over 100 signatures to our petition. Thank you! Sadly, it does appear that all of the Highland cows on Baslow Edge have now been sold due to the decision by the HSE. However, I personally feel that despite this, we need to show Mr Thorpe, the owner of this herd and the wider farming community, that we are fully against this decision. Also, that the respectful behaviour and attitudes of the vast majority; thousands of visitors to the Peak District, have been ignored in favour of a few reckless individuals who have seemingly been ignorant of advice to walk their dogs safely near the herd.
