Fellow Marxists, Maoists, and socialists in policy debate and Forensics, let us join together to establish the utopia that we desire and overthrow the capitalist imperialists. We must declare our intentions for the world to see, and for the opressed proletariat to rejoice. The obvious entity to form the core of our new People’s Democratic government would be the National Speech and Debate Association, and the first step is to rename it to something appropriate for its future role: the Supreme Soviet of Speech and Debate. Optional actions would include renaming Novice Debate to Honors Pre-AP Intro to Socialism, second year Debate to AP Marxist-Lennenist Philosophy, third year Debate to AP Maoism and Stalinism, and fourth year Debate to AP Implementing the Revolution.
