Petition updateProtect Rock Climbing at Dairy Farm!Update #2
Rock Climbers Collective
Feb 26, 2021

Hi fellow climbers and friends,

We would like to start off by thanking everyone for their patience and for adhering to NParks' request to refrain from climbing at Dairy Farm (DF). Other than a few individuals who were spotted climbing despite the notices, this is a great first step in showing the landowner that we are capable of self-regulating and aim to be responsible users and stewards of our crag.

Since our previous update on 19 Feb 2021, we have tried to engage actively with the various stakeholders involved to move this effort forward. To find out more about what’s happening, click here.

We strongly believe that a proposal is the way to go but it will be made much stronger if it comes as a collective voice from us climbers. Through the demonstration of the strong support and active engagement of the climbing community, we believe that we will be able to engage NParks towards the eventual reopening of Dairy Farm for climbing.

Help Us Now. Contribute by taking this 10-minute survey about measures to improve safety at Dairy Farm.

Beyond the issue of access and safety at Dairy Farm, we also intend to work towards the development and growth of climbing in Singapore.

Have more to share? Please feel free to get in touch with us by emailing us at rockclimberscollective@gmail.com or to speak with any of us at the wall.

Sincerely,

Rock Climbers Collective SG
