This week the first petition presentation with my story and a sample of stories from victims was submitted to Jacinta Allen, Vicki Ward and Harriet Shing. Outlined in the presentation was key point concerns drawn from victim stories and experiences to demonstrate the urgent need to increase short term and crisis housing for victims while long term housing shortages are addressed too. With the first goal of attaining 10,000 signatures passed, the focus now is attaining 20,000 signatures while a Ministerial response is waited upon.
