Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all staying safe and healthy. I'm watching a webinar from UIowa about Understanding White Privilege right now and listening to this discussion, I'm reminded that there is still so much work to do. We are now becoming more and more aware of racial injustice, white privilege, and all of the buzz words that are flying around us right now, but we cannot let the "buzz" die down. We (white people and people in power) have finally started to listen, unfortunately it took us a very long time, but we need to keep the noise up on this. Like I've mentioned before, this petition is a bit niche, but that doesn't mean that it is not important to push.
So please, keep educating yourselves, talking with your families, pushing to understand and to know more about race in the US. This will not get better until we all step up and do what is within our power to do.
