Happy New Year, North Stars and Wild fans! We have a major opportunity. Unfortunately, the 2020 Winter Classic was announced as being in Dallas. Many MN fans are upset the marquee game was not announced as being in Minnesota. It doesn’t matter as much to me. We had a Stadium Series game (it was a lot of fun to attend) with the North Stars/Wild alumni game! 

I look at this as a major opportunity for us. I’ve noticed on Twitter many fans (including Dallas fans) discussing the Wild as a possible opponent for the Stars and the Wild wearing the North Stars’ uniforms as the visiting team with Dallas wearing their throwbacks when they got to Texas. Personally, I’d consider that to be very positive.

Maybe it’s the hope talking, but I’d consider this a chance for us to strike. I’d like all of you who signed and supported this petition to start looking on social media. Search Minnesota North Stars on Twitter, Facebook, IG, message boards, etc. When you find threads discussing it, post a link to the petition. You’ll get some negative responses, but keep going. Join NHL groups on social media and advertise. Reply to the NHL social media groups with a link to the petition. The more we as a group do, the better chance we will get more support and be heard. 

My goal for us is to be at 3,000 signatures by the end of the week. We are closing in on it. With the WC steam going on and the North Stats being a topic, let’s use it to our advantage.
