A new threshold of over 53,000 signatures has been reached and we are on our way to 54,000! We are encouraged and I hope that those who have recently joined the demand take an "active" part in moving it forward because NOW is the time act - not - AFTER the signatures have been obtained. If you know anything about this fight, that's what it's been from day one A FIGHT! But we are determined because the murders of the UNARMED and innocent are continually before our faces! We are expected to accept and agree that what is UNJUST is JUST simply because they've declared it. But our eyes have seen and we've heard the declaration of NOT GUILTY for far too long and have concluded, that is enough is enough!
I want you to share the demand every time you see a video of a murder or brutalization by police! I want to tell those who sent it that you are demanding nation wide action against it and that they should too! Why "highlight" the murders of police by posting and re-sharing it without telling people what you are doing about it? When you do that followed by NO SOLUTION or plan against it, you merely glorify the acts committed, while telling everyone you know to "come and see it". Do not be led into "sick acts" that have you do nothing more than point to what's being done. If you tell them about it - you ought to be fully prepared to tell them what you're doing to prevent it further! That's what we're doing, we not talking to be talking. We are talking, because we have a demand in place that seeks accountability across the board. Because "across the board" accountability is lacking - leaving people nation-wide at risk for the same thing witnessed in these videos!
Fight "a good fight" relentless and determined. That's how we win.
