We have taken A STAND against police brutality and murder and the wrongful incarceration of thousands "falsely accused" and made to plea bargain and "cop a plea" to the lesser charges. It is no secret people have been falsely accused of a crime, just like they've been murdered without having done anything to deserve it! We can conceive of people being murdered "without cause" because we've seen it on video. But to think that an officer of law would charge a person with a crime, knowing full well they didn't do it, is not an easy thing for many to concieve. It would mean police are not enforcing the law but committing "lawless acts" against the innocent. It would mean police cannot be trusted in the accounts being given that ate used to justify their murders. When you tally up the sum total of lives "wasted and taken" because they wrongly sat in prison or were wrongly taken from the earth, it will rightly inform you that nation wide action is needed. To think that the lives of thousands upon thousands here in America could be taken without a thought or concern except by those directly and indirectly affected, should bring each and every one of us to "a stand still" in utter disbelief and horror at what has been occurring "right in our mist" yet hidden from true comprehension. True comprehension - would not tolerate it not even for a second. Because the next second may take the life of some one dear to us. And what could we say when we "knew the risk" and did nothing? Our aim is the creation of a nation wide movement, by those which not only "signed" a petition, but are willing to insist and demand the guilty be held accountable for the atrocities being committed, which are nation wide in scope. A movement such as this requires funding and the appeal has been made to each and every person who has joined and signed the demand, to contribute as little as $1. Rest assured the work will "continue" whether or not their donations are received. But a demand "nation wide in scope" and the movement that's needed, deserves and requires much more than what's been given.
