Just 4 days ago, another black man this time in Houston was murdered by police who fired 10 to 15 shots Killing him. Police claimed he had pointed a weapon at them - even produced a weapon! But a video recording the murder proved otherwise. Alva Braziel is seen in the video with his hands outstretched. He even turns around making a FULL CIRCLE to convey he is UNARMED. Nevertheless, he is fired upon and murdered. And his body lays prostrate on the ground. I could not help but feel the pain of the young man standing by the pump at the end of the video. He is enraged and beside himself with anger after witnessing and man in "total surrender" get shot down like a dog. That pain and anger has been produced "over and over and over again" each time an unarmed innocent is murdered by police. I want you to see what is brewing in the hearts and the minds of the people directly affected when you watch the anger of that young man. It is anger contained "over and over and over" which indeed is near bursting. The time for "talking" has passed. So has the initiating of forums and panels, along with our many "press conferences" in which we advise how we're "never going to stop fighting" as if to intimidate and cause them to stop their shootings. It is time for ACTION that is nation wide in scope! How dare we watch "murder after murder" with no accountability upon OURSELVES to demand action against it! How dare we "take it all on stride" and leave the fighting up to others! And how dare we think "submission of paper alone" shall get the job done. NOW, is the time for YOUR FIGHT! Not after sufficient signatures have been collected. You are party to a demand for nation wide action; I've seen "your signature" but where's YOUR FIGHT! You ought to be incensed at the "parade of murders" dancing before your faces. You ought to be disgusted that though caught on camera and lied to concerning it - they yet continue to murder!! Protesting against it is met with tear gas, assault weapons and tanks, even if peaceful. We ware waiting for none other than ourselves. If the murders of the unarmed and innocent do not provoke you into action, and protests met by military forces do not faze you, and the shooting of 12 officers "over rides" and takes precedence over the murder of "thousands" which they themselves have committed, there is no "resurrection" from that sleep!
