Mise à jour sur la pétitionSupport for a Viable Revitalization Plan for DEM leased land in Galilee, RIContinuing to Fight for What Is Right. Evidence of Support Keeps Me Fighting for What Is Right

I am very thankful for those who have inspired me so much to keep up with my fight for what is right in Galilee. If the RIDEM pays for the demolition of the Lighthouse Inn, they are as corrupt as Procaccianti and Paolino. If the RIDEM strikes a deal with Procaccianti and Paolino and allows them to retain their parking lot lease and continue to promote their Champlin Marina in Galilee on the RIDEM leased land, the RIDEM needs to be investigated by a Federal Authority such as the FBI or the US Attorney General's Office if the Rhode Island Attorney General's Office does not stop this GROSS MALFEASANCE and ABUSE OF POWER by the RIDEM by it ENABLING Procaccianti and Paolino to continue to be the posterchildren of those who PAY TO PLAY to bring forth corruption in Rhode Island. If our Courts in anyway rule for a compromise with Procaccianti and Paolino, then the Judge and the Judicial System that rules for a compromise needs to be investigated for corruption.   We have had a Governor arrested for corruption, a Mayor arrested for corruption, and the Speaker of the House arrested for corruption.  No one should be above the law regardless of how much money a person or persons have.     Procaccianti and Paolino must feel they are invincible, and they can call the shots in Rhode Island regardless of the harm they cause to our environment, wildlife, and all those who live and work in or near Galilee, Rhode Island.

The Below letters were of letters of support to me for me to continue to fight for what is right.      Please encourage others to sign this petition.    If we can reach 5000 signatures that would be a significant milestone.

Al, thank you for your time and efforts on behalf of Galilee, Narragansett, South County, The State of RI, New England, RI Taxpayers, The Federally protected Gulls who habitat Galilee, and all persons who visit our Jewel of Galilee from the far-reaching corners of our globe. Your efforts matter. Thank you for setting a good example to all, fighting the good fight against our apparent Plutocracy. Amin S. • [North End] Thank you, Sir for your effort to reach someone with any authority - I’m not going to hold my breath to see if you receive a response worthy of your well-structured and presented note. But please share any outcomes.

[Scarborough/Eastward Look] Thank you for your tireless work and not giving up on this. This situation makes the entire State look bad. It is obvious those in power are covering this up and hope you go away. What is more disconcerting to me is we have our Television Investigative Reporters only addressing this once and apparently, they have given up. I honestly am sick and tired of taking guests from out of State to Galilee and having to explain what is going on there. Below are some comments of support for my fight for what is right. As long as we insist on voting the same people in power over and over again this will continue. Time to wake up people. November is not far off. Meanwhile thank you again Albert!

[Mary Nebiolo]

I sent an email to Governor McKee, via his website, politely asking why the RIDEM (taxpayers) are paying for the demolition of the Lighthouse Inn, and not the former owners who abandoned the property.

Perhaps it should be a federal or even an international matter. Herring gulls (along with other gulls) are protected under The Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918 (MBTA - 16 U.S.C. 703-712).

Here is the link to report crimes against wildlife: https://www.fws.gov/story/how-report-wildlife-crime
(recently dropped a dime on this as the thought occurred). If you look midway to the bottom of the linked page, there is a reporting link.

This is about accountability, right? The rich guys show their morals here, but what about the RIDEM? What about our State Government? The Town of Narragansett had to go into litigation for trying to hold the rich guys accountable. The State? Won’t back up our Towns? This Town which was trying to do right by ITS PEOPLE !! (Its wildlife too!) So our State refused to back up its Town of Narragansett, and its Taxpayers, but DOES BACKUP the BILLIONAIRE property holders/developers. THAT SAYS IT ALL. The RIDEM = DEPARTMENT of ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT This mess is environmentally unacceptable. And SEAGULLS are a NATIONALLY PROTECTED BIRD. Seagulls are protected throughout the US under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918. This protection is due to their coastal nesting habitats being potentially under threat, which could impact their population numbers if breeding grounds are destroyed. The Migratory Bird Treaty Act is shared conservation legislation between the United States, Canada, Mexico, Russia and Japan, offering protection to birds with a range that extends into these countries, safeguarding against any form of destruction or harm being done to the birds, their nests or their eggs.
