On Monday, December 5th, 2022, I presented my latest speech to the newly elected Narragansett Town Council. Sadly, our Narragansett Town Council President was missing as she was attending a professional national conference for pharmacists, but let's hope she viewed the video. I did post the video on our 2 local Facebook pages for which she is a member, so let's hope she viewed what I had to say.
Most recently, the University of Rhode Island conducted updated research on a Resiliency Study for Galilee. Its content will be discussed at a meeting that will be held on December 20th, 2022. The photo that accompanies this posting shows the announcement of the presentation date for the research study that was recently completed by Researcher in Environmental Studies, Dr. Will Green, and Professional Landscape Architect, Charles Carberry, and University of Rhode Island students. The University of Rhode Island completed a prior research study, but as many felt it was dated, a recent research study was completed.
Our newly elected Narragansett Town Council President has been a strong advocate to speak out against the reckless actions or the RIDEM and Procaccianti and Paolino. Here is a link she and her husband created: The Gross Mismanagement of the RIDEM and Reckless Neglect of Procaccianti Developers. While the Newly Elected Town Council has had only 2 council meetings, there have been no motions to address the gross mismanagement of the RIDEM and Reckless Neglect of Procaccianti Developers regarding the former Lighthouse Inn Hotel. The RIDEM is supposed to protect the environment, yet it allowed Procaccianti Developers that is controlled by James Procaccianti and also is partners with Joseph Paolino to create an environmental hazard by allowing them to intentionally abandon their hotel, the Lighthouse Inn. In addition, the RIDEM has allowed Procaccianti Developers to operate illegal street level parking lots. Somethings stinks in our Beautiful Seaside Village of Galilee, and it is NOT the fish.
On Monday, December 5th, 2022, I addressed the Narragansett Town Council to continue to take action against the RIDEM, Procaccianti Developers, and any other street level parking lot operators that are violating the Town of Narragansett's Ordinances.
