Maj Gurdiyal Singh Jallanwalia a Gunner offr who celebrated his 98th Birthday in Ludhiana yesterday addressed a Veterans Rally. As a birthday gift, he has asked his two sons one a retired Gp Capt another a retired Colonel to take him to Jantar Mantar tomorrow (monday) where he will be on a hunger strike onto death with other veterans for the OROP cause. He has told his sons to cremate him there itself and not to bring him back in case he breaths his last there. Wonder what his grandson who is a also a serving Colonel will be thinking. What a family of bravehearts !!! Thousands SALUTES to Maj Jallanwalia Sir and your patriotic offsprings. Wonder when this government will wake up. Hope it does before it has veteran blood on its hands.
