Dear friends of Herrick Lake and Danada,

This has become the most critical 24 hours in our efforts to protect Herrick Lake and Danada Forest Preserves...after a disappointing March 17 hearing where five Naperville Planning Commissioners who were originally against Pulte's large housing proposal all flipped, Pulte's Nokia housing project is headed straight to a FINAL vote for approval from the Naperville City Council APRIL 20, 2021.

WE NEED YOUR HELP. We have been advised that the Naperville City Council is interested in direct community feedback before tomorrow's vote. Several council members may be willing to vote against Pulte's proposal or push for more open space and less density—but only if they see a public outcry for this.

Thank you for signing our petition (it has garnered attention), but to make a bigger impact, PLEASE send a brief email TODAY addressed to all the city council members with your concerns (protecting our county's wildlife and preserves, maximizing open space, preventing habitat destruction, reducing human encroachment, saving the bald eagle nesting site and great blue heron rookery, etc.)
