Doddanagamangala Lake is one of the dirtiest lake in Bangalore. This lake belongs to KIDB and leased to NICE authority for development, just behind PES Engineering College in Hosur Road, Electronics City Phase-2.

Doddanagamangala lake is slowly being filled up with construction debris and people have started encroaching the lake. Sign my petition asking the NICE authority and Karnataka government, to order an immediate cleanup of the Doddanagamangala Lake.

If this is not fixed and left as it is, one more lake of Bangalore will disappear from the map.

Every day we see garbage trucks and tractors with construction debris being dumped in this lake. There has been no efforts made by NICE authority to construct a boundary with fence, to restrict this exploitation.

There is unregulated sewage being continuously dumped into the lake, surrounded by heavily populated areas. People living in the neighborhood are falling sick due to this garbage dump yard lake.

We all can prevent this. Sign this petition and spread the word. If enough of us speak up and raise our voice, the Karnataka Chief Minister, Mr. B. S. Yediyurappa will be forced to take notice and will direct the concerned authority to fix this issue. We request head officers of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, KSPCB (Karnataka State Pollution Control Board), KLCDA (Karnataka Lake Conservation and Development Authority), LDA (Lake Development Authority), and Town Planning, Revenue, Forest and Minor Irrigation departments.
