Joe Biden was specifically asked by 9/11 families not to show up at the World Trade Center Memorial or any of the other memorials yesterday. He did so, anyway, and this notwithstanding that other Americans are still stranded in Afghanistan. It takes a particular kind of disrespect and callousness toward the 9/11 families to not respect their request to not show up at 9/11 memorials, especially after you have abandoned fellow Americans in the very country whose current government was complicit in murdering 2,977 people on American soil.

Such a disrespect and callousness alone, of course, does not warrant impeachment. Essentially handing over Afghanistan to the very group that murdered 2,624 Americans on American soil and abandoning  other Americans in Afghanistan does—and that makes showing up to 9/11 memorials against the explicit wishes of 9/11 families even more disrespectful and callous.
