2141! Gearing up for Henry Breault day on March 8 in Putnam and thank you to those who have shared the petition on Reddit!
Happy to announce the USS Henry Breault Association now has a logo! Designed and drawn by Travis Grover, it incorporates some significant imagery. A submarine with bow planes represents a VIRGINIA-Class submarine, which is what the petition currently calls for, is flanked by two dolphins, designed in a classical fashion. Port and starboard running lights (red and green respectively) are replicated in the dolphin's eyes, to match the aspect of the submarine moving forward (stage left and stage right). The state of Connecticut is the background as Henry Breault's birthplace and due to its significant connection to the submarine force. The state is blue to represent the ocean that the potential USS Henry Breault would stealthily deploy to protect the US and its citizens. Finally, two stars represent the approximate location of Putnam and Groton; Breault's hometown and the first homeport and likely construction site of the potential USS Henry Breault.
Bravo Zulu to Mr. Grover, who shall receive credit anywhere this picture is used (as can be seen by his signature above the green-eyed dolphin's tail)!
