On Thursday I had a really encouraging meeting with Paula and Jenny from Community Integrated Care. 🎉 They’re on board with our campaign’s first step: updating Catherine’s care plan to include regular nail care by her support staff. Catherine is my daughter and she lives in support living. That Catherine in the photo. 👣💅
This change isn’t just for Catherine—it’s for all the other people who deserve timely, dignified nail care, too. Together, we’re laying the groundwork with risk assessments, staff training, clear timelines and protocols—so every resident can get safe, fortnightly nail trims without delay. 🗓️📝
I’ll be sharing Catherine’s journey (and those of many others) as we go—because every small win brings us closer to our goal of making nail care a national standard in supported living. 🇬🇧
