Through my position as a member of FLARE, the Department for Education’s national young SEND advisory group, I take every opportunity I can to promote and campaign for all children to be taught to read and write regardless of their educational label or disability.  Since January this has included two round table meetings with the minister responsible for SEND, you can see the video I shared here: video presentation to Minister for SEND
