In case some of you have not heard, Donald Trump and the White House undergoing lawsuits in response to an interview their news program 60 Minutes posed with 2024 presidential nominee Kamala Harris, citing deceptive editing despite having no evidence for these claims. Leadership in the company has also caused the resignation of Bill Owens, the executive producer from 60 Minutes, over disputes on reporting topics. In response to Bill Owens' resignation, 60 Minutes made a direct correlation between Paramount's merger attempts with Skydance Media, which has to be approved through the federal government via the Federal Trade Commission. This is a blatant attack on the First Amendment and a clear case of capitulation and corruption.

Anyone familiar with my work will know that I am unapologetically and staunchly leftist and antifascist, and implement such messages in my writing (though I always put the story first and never try to preach or be too obnoxious with my points, of course). Not only is this another clear sign of Paramount's complete inability to effectively run as a business, but also a clear sign of a lack of ethics and morality.

As noted in the petition, you are advised not to buy anything from Paramount for the sake of redirecting their approach to entertainment, and towards me for a better direction. Now, I once again call on you to do so, but this time for the sake of freedom of the press and the free flow of information.

Paramount must know that their actions are unacceptable, immoral, and irresponsible. Call for a full boycott of Paramount and their products, and make clear to their leadership that capitulation to fascism is not only un-American, it is bad for business. Do anything and everything you can to make this issue clear and known.
