Do you know a Sikh can not be a police officer in NSW as per the NSW Police Force Uniform Policy which allows Sikhs to wear a turban but does not allow Sikh men to have their beard uncut. This policy does not allow Kara and Kirpan as well.

However in Victoria Police Force a different state in Australia, Sikh men are allowed to keep their five article of faith and Victoria Police Force has supported Sikhs by implementing their Uniform Policy inline with Sikhism.

So Why can't NSW Police Force do the same? Is it because NSW Police Force has some racist elements who do not want to change the Uniform Policy? Is it because NSW Police Force scared of change?

Sikhs fought in ANZACs and British Armed Forces in both WW. Sikhs have contirbuted soo much for Australia. So why can't NSW Goverment allow Sikhs to practise their faith without discrimination and bullying.
