Just a day after my last update to you, Gov. Nixon announced that he will be taking "a hard look" at my father's case and clemency request. It's great news and I know that you helped make it happen by putting pressure on him through social media. So don't stop! Let's send another round of messages to Gov. Missouri Representative Shamed Dogan introduced a bill last week that, if passed, would release my father. His bill would allow the parole board to release any prisoner serving a life sentence for nonviolent marijuana charges -- and my dad is the only person in Missouri doing so.
