23 May 1974 – David Cassidy appeared in Hertford Street, London on a balcony of Radio Luxembourg studios,where he was making a recording.

David made two appearances on the balcony overlooking Hertford Street,where the traffic had been stopped by the massed fans.

Tony Prince said “ I always regarded David as an actor who smoothly moved into his great love,music, just as did Ricky Nelson and The Monkees and, like Ricky, he was gifted with a unique voice and a mellow style which floored the millions of fans who clamoured for all he did “
