Mumbai Traffic Commissioner respond to our Road Safety petition - By "repeatedly" Forwarding it.

Since February 2017, we have been trying to reach Police Traffic Commissioner Milind Bharambe. After repeated reminders and emails our mail atlast reaches the Traffic Commissioner's office on 23rd February.And what does he do? Forward it to the other departments. We lost our mother Snehala Karnik in a tragic hit and run accident on 15th January 2017 during National Road Safety Week. She was hit by a speeding tanker while crossing road on zebra crossing. It was not easy but our family visited the tragic spot and observed that a lot needs to be done towards making roads safer for our Senior citizens and young children. The zebra crossing lines are faded, there are no stop lines, CCTV cameras are not working, there are no traffic islands to facilitate road crossing at the busy junction, etc. Past two months we have been approaching BMC, MMRDA, Traffic Police and RTO. We thank MMRDA for implementing our suggestions not just at the Inorbit Mall junction but through our the Goregaon-Malad Link Road. BMC also installed a speed breaker to control speed of vehicles during off-peak hours. We know our list of request to make roads safer is long and will take time. In the meantime we are requesting BMC and Mumbai Traffic Police to atleast get the zebra lines repainted and painting stop lines to prevent fatal accidents. Recently, we send another email request to Milind Bharambe. Guess what! His department has again forwarded it. This follow-up with BMC and Traffic Police is a tiresome process. It is only your support that keeps us going. The least you can do Mr. Bharambe, is show some courtesy to the citizens by reading their request before forwarding the mail to other departments. Please Mr. Traffic Commissioner will you take some action towards making roads safer for our Senior Citizens and young children.
