The fight for Safer Mumbai roads gains momentum!!!

Thank you, Mid-day, for supporting us and taking this cause of raising pedestrian safety awareness for our Senior Citizens and young children one notch further.
Platforms like change.org and media support from popular publications like Mid-day, Hindustan times, Loksatta, Samna and Across Mumbai are enabling us to take menace of Unruly traffic concerns to a larger audience.
Hopefully, this will soon come to the notice of concerned authorities and push them into taking quick and solid disciplinary actions for making roads safer.
All that we are demanding is:
1) Safer Roads - By clearing foot-paths, building traffic islands and making speed breakers at popular and residential junctions
2) Traffic Regulations - Strictly enforcing speed limits, having traffic police at popular, busy and residential junctions, ensuring CCTV cameras are operational, installing signage indicating speed limits and warning car drivers and pedestrians of on-going metro work and stricter punishments for rash, reckless and negligent driving
3) Road Safety Awareness - This unfortunate accident has happened during the road safety week. We need to work harder for creating road safety awareness among drivers and pedestrians
As responsible individuals, we are doing everything in creating awareness for road safety. Will the concerned authorities take responsibility for this accident and take immediate actions to make our roads safer?
