Dear MSJE Parents, Teachers, Community Members and Friends, Together, we did it!!! After having over 100 people show up to to discuss Dr. Morris' decision to remove Mr. Graves from MSJE, in combination with all of the email sent to the board, Mr. Graves is able to stay with us at MSJE! Dr. Morris DID hear us. By now you should have received Mr. Graves' email: "MSJE Community, I had a follow-up meeting with Dr. Morris this morning about my transfer to Mattos Elementary. I informed Dr. Morris that I preferred to stay at MSJE. He has agreed to my wishes and I will be staying at MSJE. Thanks for all your support throughout this process. Go Mustangs! Principal Graves" Two last requests and courses of action: Please write Dr. Morris and the FUSD Board Members We would like to thank Dr. Morris for hearing our concerns and reversing his decision, and the board members for their support. We very much appreciate having Mr. Graves stay with our children at MSJE where he is loved and needed. Come to the board meeting Thursday at 6:30... We will go and thank Mr. Morris in person and ask that in the future the community be consulted first before such a life altering move is made. This move would have affected our children's education, spirit, desire to succeed, and our home values among other things. The meeting will be held at 4210 Technology Dr. at the FUSD District Office in the Education Center Board Room from 4:30-11pm.
