As full-time undergraduate international students at The University of Hong Kong, we are extremely dissatisfied with the lack of communication offered by the Finance and Enterprises Office (FEO) in regard to the payment of tuition fees. The student body finds it unacceptable that no concessions on tuition fees has been offered by the FEO.
 
While we sympathize with all governing bodies having to deal with the unfortunate events that have shrouded the city over the last few months, the student body finds it unacceptable to pay tuition fees sans concessions despite having no access to university facilities, cancellation of the official examination period, and having to complete watered down course assessments which fail to portray our potential in the respective subject.
 
Hence, the student body at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) demands the FEO to consider and enact acceptable concessions, based on the number of suspended days, for students paying tuition fees for the following periods:
 
·      2019/20 Semester 1 (November onwards)
·      2019/20 Semester 2 (February until suspension is lifted)
 
We hope to see our demands being met by the FEO.
