中国がユネスコに申請する「慰安婦性奴隷」「南京大虐殺」の世界記憶遺産登録に反対します！

中国がユネスコに二つの推薦書を提出しました。
・慰安婦の記録：日本軍性奴隷
・南京大虐殺の記録

これらは、慰安婦を性奴隷、南京戦を南京大虐殺として戦時中の日本軍を非難するものです。

私たちは中国の申請がユネスコの世界記憶遺産に歴史事実として登録されるのに反対します。

中国の動きは日本の名誉を貶める政治的な意図があります。
従って、ユネスコ憲章の「平和は、失われないためには、人類の知的及び精神的連帯の上に築かなければならない」に沿っていません。

私たちはユネスコが書類を公正に慎重に審査し、実証された事実を元に正しい判断をするように要請します。

 

We are against China’s applications to the UNESCO, ‘Comfort Women as Sex Slaves' and ‘Nanjing Massacre' , to the International Memory of the World Register.

The People’s Republic of China submitted the two nomination forms to UNESCO.
- Archives about "Comfort Women": the Sex Slaves for Imperial Japanese Troops / ID Code [2014-49]
- Documents of Nanjing Massacre / ID Code [2014-50]

Both accuse the Japanese Imperial Army during the war time for comfort women as sex slaves and the battle of Nanjing as the Nanjing Massacre respectively.

We protest against China’s applications to register to the UNESCO Memory of the World as historical facts.

China’s action is driven by her political motivation to defame Japan’s reputation.
Hence it is not in line with the UNESCO constitution which is “Peace must be established on the basis of humanity’s moral and intellectual solidarity.”

We request that the UNESCO examine the documents fairly and carefully, and make a correct decision based on the verified facts.
