I strongly believe that Dolphin users should be able to enjoy CTGP Revolution in the same way as Wii users. Many Dolphin users (including myself) own a perfectly legitimate copy of Mario Kart Wii, however, our Wii consoles may have broken down, discs have stopped working, etc. Nintendo are no longer supplying such products, to which when such events (e.g breaking down) occur, many users can no longer play CTGP Revolution and continue to keep the Mario Kart Wii community alive. Furthermore, allowing Dolphin users access to CTGP Revolution would increase the activity within the community and also allow for more complex features (due to powerful PCs).

One of the main issues highlighted is the potential for hackers and cheaters. A solution for this developing a code to determine whether or not the ISO loaded in Dolphin is legit.
